In a team-up with Hammersley Carine Amateur Football Club (HCAFC), my mum and I will be shaving our heads and dyeing them pink to raise money for the Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australian women with one in seven diagnosed in their lifetime. Over 20,000 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer this year as well as over 170 men.Your support will help these women, men and families to not go through their journey alone.

As well raising money and awareness for breast cancer we also want to acknowledge and raise awareness for all the brave woman in our lives who are going through other cancer journeys, dealing with the horrible side effects of treatment and showing us what amazing women they are. This is for you too.

We are hoping to raise $1000 by the 12th of May, when we will be shaving our heads together. Any and all support is greatly appreciated.

UPDATE - We raised $1000 within the first four hours thanks to the generosity of so many people so we have decided to up the goal to $5000!
